Today's Outfit - 03/04

This morning, before accessorized, I looked at the mirror and when I saw that lack of colour I had to ask myself “What’s happening with you? Are you afraid of something? Why are you avoiding risks?”
Because all that gray and white wasn’t my wish to play with it, but because I was feeling protected.
Does this mean that I’m feeling more susceptible since I had that anonymous comment telling me how hideous my outfit was?
Am I breaking down?
Or it was just a bad mood?

black to gray shoes - local store
gray tights - local store
gray pencil skirt - don't remember
white turtleneck - Zara
gray cardigan - Vero Moda
red belt -Tally Weijl
scarf - gift

  3. Ignore that kind of comments, my dear. What can you expect from a person who hides in anonimity?

You look good and I believe there is not need to be colorful all the time. I love the belt. I miss my black clothes...soon I'll buy more

  4. I love the shades of grey with the splash of red. Very chic!

About the negative comments, I could share some cliches about how we should dress to please ourselves as it is impossible to please everybody. But, we know that. The bottom line is that other people's opinions often affect the way we feel. Negative comments hurt. But, you will bounce back and continue to be fabulous!

    Peace

  5. Negative comments can torpedo one's self-esteem. Remember, that person didn't identify him/herself, so that means that s/he wasn't taking a risk. You were. That's brave.

I hope you will not stop taking risks. If you're feeling vulnerable now, take a "risk" break for a little while, then go back to being imaginative in a week or so, when you're more confident.

The red belt really makes this!

  6. I actually really like the cuddliness of that sweater with the waist-cinching belt! Negativity allows for a balance in our lives. Don't worry about it dear :)

  8. I don't think you people get it. If you are going to put yourself out there like this then you open yourself up to the scrutiny and comments of everyone. No one should be surprised or shocked or hurt when they see a negative comment. Do you honestly believe everyone is going to think you look fabulous? Seriously.
