a heart with a Heart…

The lovely and amazing WendyB is having an auction on her blog to benefit Stephanie Nielson, a young blogger who together with her husband, Christian, was seriously injured in a small-aircraft crash in which their accompanying flight instructor died.
Stephanie was burned over 80% of her body and is in critical condition. Christian suffered burns over 30% of his body.
Though the blogging world is made up largely of virtual friends, there’s a real sense of community, so WendyB has one Wendy Brandes-designed sterling silver Diana Necklace (pictured on the left) up for auction; it's gorgeous and for a great cause.
If you can’t help entering the auction, you can click on the "Donate to NieNie" link on WendyB ‘s site to make donations, because all help is welcome.

More information on WendyB ‘s site or on the New York Times account.

  2. Thank you for mentioning this. I really appreciate it. I have added all kinds of cool bonuses. Big spenders have a chance to get a piece of jewelry designed in their honor and named after them!

So nice of you, dear Seeker, to share the news of this with us.

it's so sad what happened to her, I almost cried, her life will never be the same.
Hopefully her family can find some sort of normalcy again when they heal.
