Today's Outfit - 10/16

When was the last time you organized your books?
The reason I’m asking is because I was just standing in front of my book case looking for a particular book and I simply couldn’t find it.
I know that it is there, I simply couldn’t locate it. I’m going to have to spend some time trying to come up with some sort of organization that will prevent this from happening.

Today I had a meeting of the group that is creating the Family and Friends Association I’ve told you about sometime ago. For now we are still dealing with bureaucratic issues, but we’ve already chose the name. It will be “Ecos de Amizade” which means “Echoes of Friendship”.
I really like it, I think it has all about…

I assure you that the top is purple, like many times seems blue, maybe it’s my definitions, maybe it’s the light, maybe it’s the camera… oh well it’s not so important.

red shoes - La Redoute
printed skirt - C&A Sixth Sense (detail)
purple top -H&M
red satin ribbon by me
short gray cardi - Promod
bracelet - gift from Hubby (Tie Rack)
necklace - gift from Hubby (Bijou Brigitte)

perfume - Noa from Cacharel

  1. Querida the Seeker,

  6. You really know how to make purple go with red -- I couldn't pull it off.

    Good job.

  8. Love all the red highlights. You look like you are ready to go dancing. Is Mr. Seeker ready to Tango with his gorgeous wife?:-)

When I cannot find a book I remember the color of the book and then I scan for the color instead of the title. if that doesn't work I then bring in He-weasel to see if he can find it.

Congratulations on choosing the name. I really like it. That is a big step. Something to celebrate!!

I think it's been a long time since I rearranged my books - I just have too many of them!

  14. Funny you should ask about the books. Just the other day I couldn't find a book a friend wanted to borrow. I have a library for crying out loud. I guess that task needs to go on my never ending list of things to do.

I want to ask you about La Redoute. I have looked at their clothes but wondered about the quality and fit. What has been your experience with them?

  15. Great pose Seeker, very Pulp Fiction/Hairspray. (Boo has me watching Hairspray the movie every night on Sky1)

I have not only failed to find a book on my book shelf, I have bought the same book twice, thinking I didnt own it, read it and then when I went to put in on the shelf with his mates from the same author, found I already had it.
(pages were bent so I couldnt return it)

But I thought I was the only one who does things like that!
    xx

Be sure to put your new group on facebook. Use a picture of the little seeker. xxooxx

  17. Querida Seeker, vejo blue!
Embora purple seja uma linda cor!
Cardigan aqui também chamamos bolero, gosto muito e uso também!
E o detalhe do red satin ribbon combinando com os red shoes ficou um luxo!
    Bless you!

  18. You look lovely in purple!

I have the same problem with book-organising. I have literally hundreds and hundreds, and it takes forever to organise them (and creates a huge mess when they're all out on the floor waiting to be tidied away). One day I'll have a whole room to devote to creating a library ... until then I'm afraid there will just be piles everywhere and it will take me an hour to find a particular book!

  19. You look fantastic!! I love the skirt and the lovely red shoes!! and that beautiful bow is the perfect touch! You look gorgeous as always!! :)
We normally keep all the books, dvd's, cd's etc by alpha order! I know...it might sound kind of weird! :)

Ps. Good luck with "Echoes of friendship" It sounds very nice! xxxx
