TO - 12/28 - cold and windy… does the wind will take my fedora out…

Yves Saint Laurent
Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear

Long Blazer
Carrot-top trousers

A long blazer…. a slim line version of the peg-top trouser line, which was a popular 1980s fashion,… but I have these pieces in my wardrobe… a suit that was a London buy, some years ago…

You know my love for hats. Today I decided to use my fedora. But I must be honest… I didn’t wear it all the time, not the entire afternoon, but it was a step, I think. I’m being braver…

Now I’m looking for a beret. I’ve been looking for a beret for weeks…

black ankle boots - local store
tweed suit – London buy
metallic belt - Parfois
blue turtleneck - local store
rubi brooch - gift from Hubby
white wool scarf - gift from Hubby
black fedora hat - Zara
pearls necklace - mainland store
red gloves - Details
lipstick - Esté Lauder
lipgloss - L'Oreal
perfume - Noa from Cacharel

i've got a long blazer long time ago. i had it when i was still a teener and was in HongKong that time. but since there's no winter here, it had to be given away. =[

anyway, you look really stylish on that blazer and fedora hat. definitely lovely. ^^

  9. Hi Seeker,

Answer: I do not delete your comment, oh by any means. Interesting what you wrote down. Your thing may be heavy, but you aren't mad. Very stylish and you are original look. There are second hand shops where I live, but I consider the peoples as conservative likewise. The other side the vulgar one, oh it terrible believe it! ;) It is criticized on the underground the my Dior shoes, (ebay buy) while... all the same. I don't hear it. :) The older people has a taste rather at us. It is necessary to tolerate it and not to care about others. Is there not a second hand shop on the continent? I love your blog. Continue....

AND your outfit: Absolutly chic! :))) I love your brooch, (I am brooch fan haha!)gloves, belt, pearls necklace! Simly and perfect!

    xoxo: Janet

I wanted to ask if you might be interested in participating in Favorite Things 2008? I know that you might not want to write about beauty products but really this 'event' is open to bloggers of any genre. Would love to have you onboard and see what you favorite things of 2008 are!

  12. I must say I didn't like that Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection by Yves Saint Laurent at all. But I like that trouser shape, and the way you wore it. I love your fedora! I want one exactly like it!
I'm that way too... Maybe if I take a photo in heels and put it on my blog, it doesn't mean I'm in heels ALL DAY. Maybe I've worn them to go somewhere, and to go somewhere else I wore sneakers, or something like that ^^
I liked that collage that you made!

  13. Oh my god, just look at you! You're gorgeous!!! That smile makes the sun come out of hiding. ^_^

Your outfit is sensational: it's so elegant and might even be called conservative if it weren't for the fedora, the white scarf and the red gloves. Well, all right, it's still conservative in a good way, but with a wicked little twist. ;-) Love it!

I don't really know if it's conscious planning on your part, or some sort of instinct, but I do know that you were given the gift of making this world a prettier place with your creativity. (And your kindness too!)

Here I am, sitting who knows how many miles away from you, and yet, I take a look at your latest ensemble and think "It was worth getting up today, just to see this beauty, this harmony of different colors, and to see that good and beautiful things are still created by people every day."

    Thank you!

    Love,
    Izar

P.S.: Of course you do know that you were born to wear hats. Don't you? Don't you??? You'd better. ;-)
