"You create your thoughts, and your thoughts create your life. Do you like what you have created? Contemplate yourself each day and you will unravel the mystery of not only what you are but who you are."

I’m moving…

Yes my blogging friends and dear readers, I’m moving.

I’ve tried to blogger, I’ve tried to check and comment in all my blogroll blogs, but I’ve a serious problem of time, and 24 hours a day isn’t just enough for me.
So I’m moving to another planet where a day has more than 24 hours, Venus.
In fact a day on Venus takes 243 Earth days, and with that I’ll have plenty of time…

I’m preparing my wireless system to communicate with you during the trip, to send my posts and check your blogs.

And when I’ll arrive, the first thing I’ll do is preparing an welcome reception to when you decide to visit me.

Today's Outfit - 08/28

Reading just for the picture ;)

This necklace is one of those pieces I’ve bought at mainland in last holidays.

I really like the effect that this shirt has on the neck, with this “thing” that seems origami.

pink shoes - Aldo
pink pants - Zara (many years ago)
black shirt - H&M
studed belt - gift from sis and goddaughter
necklace - mainland store
lipstick - L'Oreal
perfume - Paris from YSL
sunglasses - mainland store

Today's Outfit - 08/27

Clothes already seen but in a new combination.

I got the orange cardi with me “just in case”. I could have to meet with someone and I don’t think appropriated at the office, just with a strap top. But fortunately it wasn’t necessary to wear it, so… all day just in top.

I can assure you that the top is purple, as the skirt has some strokes of purple, but in the pictures it seems blue… It’s interesting how the light can interfere…

red shoes - Zara
printed skirt - Zara
purple top - H&M
orange bolero - Mango
necklace - gift from Hubby (Bijou Brigitte)
lipstick - Guerlain
perfume - Paris from YSL
sunglasses - mainland store

Once again “Searching the Inner Me…” has been honoured with three awards that putted a big smile on my face, because I really appreciated them.

That’s with great pleasure that I pass them to the sweethearts that awarded me and to all the blogs of my blogroll, because they all deserve my love, my friendship and my comments, but since I need to do some nominations, they are below.

Apparently, there are different kinds of “rules” in these nominations. So I’ll do just a summary of them.
1. The nominated is allowed to put the picture on their blogs.
2. Link to the person who awarded you.
3. Nominate other people and link to them.
4. Leave a message on those people's blog to make them aware that they're nominated.

The beautiful and lovely Rocketqueen from Rocketqueen's beauty blog honoured me with the “I ♥ your blog” award.

And I’m passing it to:

Catherine Ashley Talks Fashion
Economy of Style
Fashion Herald
La Belette Rouge

The gorgeous and talented lady (¯`·._.·[***Celina***]·._.·´¯) from LUXOS E LUXOS rewarded me with the 100 award (“Sem” ~ “Sin” ~ “Sen”)

Today's Outfit - 08/26

Today when I chose this blouse I thought it would be fresh, since it’s sheer and soft, Hummm but it wasn’t the best choice, because I felt hot all day.

I’m feeling worried (and not just me) because it doesn’t rain since long time, which is not normal at the Island. Now the company water rationed it and we are having water cuts for 24 hours. In my zone it’s at Mondays and Thursdays.
Yesterday I wasn’t prepared but at least I had plenty of bottled water.

I wore my new bracelet Hubby offered me when we were at mainland. It was bought at Tie Rack and it has two rows, one of pearls and the other of silvered pieces, it has also some cute pieces, like two butterflies, a turtle, an elephant with its snout up (to give good luck),…

The last picture is more of a bit of my house. Despite it hadn’t rain the grass grows quickly…

blue shoes - Stradivarius
very light blue pants (from a suit) - Promod
red belt -Tally Weijl
blue and white polka dot sheer blouse - local store
white tank -Zara
bracelet - Tie Rack (gift from Hubby)
lipgloss - L'Oreal
perfume - Paris from YSL
sunglasses - mainland store

the colour of passion…

Though black is next season powerful leading - not just in dresses - don’t think of a dark and cloudy Fall. Red traces infiltrated into the runaway and bust the parade of neutral.

Red is the colour of passion, aggression and power.
Red is one of the most versatile of all bright colours. According to designer Michael Kors, in In Style Magazine’s “What’s your Perfect Colour?” (June 2008 Aus Edition) “Red will work with any neutral in your closet.”

Powerful reds and scarlet have made a huge impact of runways this fall. Find them in the plaid prints and checks of Ralph Lauren, and solid block-coloured evening and cocktail dresses of Giambattista Valli.

Alexander McQueen's collection feature royal ruby reds and plenty of volume. And don't forget Fall 2008's jacket of the moment, the Biker Jacket, in red hot scarlet.

Colourful reds and oranges can be found within the Russian Doll Folklore trend, with designers being inspired by colourful traditional Russian folk costumes, providing us with a strong bohemian look for the fall winter season.

The most daring attitude is to risk in the total look which includes accessories as shoes, handbags and tights.

But for those who are not so brave, the solution goes by for the accessories or red details on a neutral setting.
In the fashion accessories department, red hosiery is a hot look, with primary red opaque, whilst sexy red stilettos or a touch of red lipstick adds sex appeal and attitude to any outfit.

Just a small talk about some of my skincare practices.

Thanks to my lovely blogging friend Grayburn who have inspired and encouraged me and to Hubby that was always telling me to take care of myself, that I’ve been taking care of my face skin on a daily basis with these products.

Face care, two times a day, morning and night:

Gamila Secret Soap
Eisenberg Toning Lotion

Clinique even better skin tone corrector

Eisenberg Hydra Lifting

Two times a week in alternating days:

Eisenberg Firming Remodelling Mask

Thanks to Sis and Goddaughter who gave and introduced me to:

Body care:

From The Body Shop

Satsuma Body Polish and Satsuma Body Butter

I’m not doing reviews of these products, it’s not my field. I leave it to the experts like Izar, Grayburn and my new find Rocketqueen, if they are interested.

women in art...

My friend T sent me the adress to this YouTube video that I actually think is amazing.

The video "Women in Art", directed by the enigmatic creator Eggman913 Missouri in the USA, is an impressive anthem devoted to the history of art through the image of women. The music is that of Yo-Yo Ma playing the Sarabande of the Suite for Cello No. 1 by Bach.

This video is a true masterpiece of digital art in terms of technical mastery and artistic creativity. Eggma913 has created other interesting videos, available on You Tube, through software "morphing" images of FantaMorph Abrosoft.

The artworks used to create the film "Women in Art" were listed by Boni, professional instructor "Fayetteville Technical Community College “on the website dedicated to novices of the Internet .

I hope you'll see it.

I want to thank all of my blogging friends and dear readers the nice and kind words in my last post

I also bought a few accessories, scarves, a belt, tights, some jewellery (Hubby offered me) and my hat, I’ll show you later.

Now I’m paying for my credit card. So shopping season if off. Until Christmas I think I would buy nothing or just one or two pieces, like my wanted oxfords if I'll find them.
Yes, recession is making more victims.

Besides I have to check my boxes, because I think I may have some stuff wearable for new season.
