TO - 01/15 - playing on the church’s stairs…

We are unfortunate enough to meet dozens of people every day.

Most of them have no particular name, no particular ability, no particular hobby, no particular purpose, no particular ambition, no particular appearance.

However, most of them look sad. Apparently, for no particular reason if you ask them, you will soon find out that a most common reason for such sadness is born from the disappointment of not doing things they couldn’t have done anyway.

green shoes - Xmas gift from Hubby
grape pants - other island store some time ago
green turtleneck - H&M
gray cardigan - Vero Moda
purple belt - local store
gray blazer (from a suit) - mainland store some time ago
plaid purple and gray scarf - Stadivarius
cocktail ring - gift from Hubby
colourfull brooch - Hubby's gift
lipstick - Esté Lauder
perfume - Noa from Cacharel

  7. Oh my gosh, you cannot imagine the sadness that swelled in me when i read what you've written here. I shed a tear because it is so beautiful yet so sad and so true.

You are looking wonderful in purple. The hint of green peeping through just amps up the pizazz. Sorry if this comment is unlike me i must take a moment to recover from your honest words.

    Love, Eelie

  12. I see that all the time too..people without the spark in their eyes..who lost it a long time ago. I think they feel as if it is too late to do anything about it but I sometimes just wish to tell them that it is not. There are those who watch life go by and those who grab it and make it their own. It's tough but I try to be the latter.

I like the second pic :) lovely 'model in action' pose!

  13. Gosh I'd forgotten what a lovely colour grape is - especially when there is a lot of it as with you trouser. Lovely mix of colours your wearing!

  14. Love the trousers and another wonderful scarf :) I really do think a lot of people mourn things they can not change or ever will be able to change, it is much easier to look on the positive side and be grateful for the things we do have and can achieve.

  17. Another perfect color mix - gotta start taking notes!

I find it even more disheartening to encounter people who are sad and frustrated because of things they CAN change, but are too afraid to change. Know what I mean?

  27. Much better to have things you're looking forward to than regreting things you haven't/couldn't have done. The past can be a good teacher instead of a prison.

    Your outfit looks great!

  29. Purple is so flattering on you!! I would have guessed green or a bright color would be your best, but purple is hands down the color for you!

I love the way you layer. Each item is interesting so when you put them on top of each other is a great look.

    This outfit is my fav!
