...you would call an ambulance.
There is always a song or a book ready to cover an inner emotional device, an inner move or an inner direction. Whenever and however we'd turn to ourselves, we could always stumble upon a tune or a line that needs to be re-listened or re-read in response to some new configuration of feelings. Sometimes very different songs and very different authors compete for the same inner concern and there we could immediately recognize a conflict of interest between our official musical or literary taste and some unexpected requirement coming from a nebulous ardour.
However, because of my annoying sense of commitment, I often end up in a fusional relationship (I hope psychoanalysts will forgive my misusing the expression) with sounds, words and colours; and then my conservation instinct has to enter the scene and so I am keeping my own identity intact through a never-ending analysing-attempt, as a desperate technique for taming them. At the long last, here I am defending myself against the things I love most, so I can go on with writing my story about them.

parece que hablas de sentimientos, yo puedo añadir que eso es lo más bonito y doloroso, los sentimientos mueven nuestra vida y nos hacen ser lo mejor y lo peor de nosotros mismos.

ReplyDeleteYou don't need a tune to express how you feel.Wearing black and grey is a clue in itself.
ReplyDeleteIt's not easy when we try to be our own balance and I guess we've been there one time or another.
But you know th song from ANNIE that says 'The sun will shine again Tomorrow...'

Hey hun
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, love the outfit. Yet again, trumps!
I also agree with you in regards to obtaining the same emotion from very different forms of media, but therein lies the beauty of a good song writer/story teller.
On a whole, I'm well impressed by people who have multiple ways to get a singular point across, and do so flamboyantly confidently and successfully.
Hope all is going well this week :)
Very heartfelt post, darling ~ bravo!

ReplyDeleteSo, are you saying that you are fused to the tree?;-) I do love trees. So if you are, I understand that feeling. You look, as always, the epitome of chic.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can find a way to have space even as you honour your commitments.
xoxo
It looks like such a beautiful day for showing off such a beautiful outfit. You look stunning. I love the pants and the black, gray, white theme you have going. The shoes, of course, are to die for.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week, my dear.
Your outfit is really cute, dear.
ReplyDeleteAnd the things you said about your feelings are so human, aren't they? I mean, we kind of ride a roller coaster when it comes to feelings and we can easily respond so differently to similar facts when the clock hands spin and we see things from different perspectives. Anyway, what really matters is that any journey within is worth taking.
I just loved the dandelion picture below!
Have a sweet nice week, dearest :)

Love your blazer, and those pleated trousers look so fantastic! I know what you mean, there are movies, books, songs, all of which are utterly unremarkable to others, but because they contain so much meaning and memory, they are special beyond words.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words; sometimes it amazes me how I let my iPod go on shuffle and the song fits my very being - my emotions, my thoughts, etc. so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteBisous,
La C.
Beautiful!
