Hello my dear readers and blogging friends, are you all getting ready for spring???

Is the weather on your place a spring-y one? If so you’re very lucky… here it’s raining and still cold.

These last few days I’ve been thinking about this issue that is the information that Fashion bloggers publish about the clothes of an outfit, naming the brands and having no compensation for that, if it is “Free Advertising”. I mean when I put that I bought that piece on Mango, Zara, H&M…. and many others they don’t know I’m doing that but also don’t care.

The big majority of fashion bloggers have no clothes by courtesy of any brand. Is this “Free Advertising”? Should we give that information? Yay or Nay??? Insights are very welcome!!!

On another note I’m very happy with the fact that we’re growing as a niche in Facebook. We now are more than 1000 and I’m sure we will continue to grow. Thank you so much to all that showed some love by clicking “like” on our page. But we can’t stop now… have you already done it????

Yesterday there was a sign of Spring…. Despite de cold and the wind, the sun shined!!! Hurray!!!

So I decided to start to pour down some colour… trying to awake the spring gods.
However it still feels weird wearing those bright colours, but I’m sure you will see me soon in colour blocking ;-)

This weekend we have the time changing. It’s good to leave the office and still have some day light, but to get up from bed in the first days…. And it’s less an hour of my youth… lol

OMG this has been such a cold weekend!!! Not usual in the Island in that time of the year, we have had maximum temperatures of 13º C, meaning lots of layers even indoors, because our houses are not prepared.

It was a recent gift from Hubby… well I had seen it and told how enchanted I was with it. Since Hubby knows I’m a “scrimpy” when it comes to buy some things to me and that I’m very worried with this crisis we are facing in our country, he knew I wasn’t going to buy it.
It was so sweet of him and a very nice surprise!!!

Today I read this article on IFB about Unprofessional Blogging by Vyqué White of Fasshonaburu which I recommend because has some great insights about the monster that is Blogger Guilt (something that has consumed me recently much).

The catastrophe that is happening in Japan with earthquakes and the tsunami make us feel a bit upset because our Islands are located in a disturbed place with quakes, so we feel related to what’s happening there.
Islanders know that at any time it could happen, but it always take us by surprise, and thinking if a big one is coming.
