what Monday had in common with Tuesday…..

Apart from work (lol) a green piece was something I had in common in my Monday’s and Tuesday’s outfits.

Monday with the pants and Tuesday with the belt, hmmmmm….. should I decided that it’s green week and wear everyday a green piece…. I don’t think so, but it’s an interesting idea to do someday, a week with a theme.

Like I’ve told you in my last post I’m still thinking about Forgiveness and how it approaches an exercise…..

Hope you’re having a nice and blessed week.

the wedding look......

Due to some sort of things that have been happening in my life I have been thinking much about Forgiveness.
I think we must acknowledge our scars as combat marks, but without heaviness and pain.
So why do I feel that about some things I’m not yet ready to forgive????

I guess I’ll have to explore this a bit more….

This is my outfit of the wedding that I went yesterday. As I’ve already talked about, the wedding of a very sweet friend and co-worker, my dear F.

I wish to the new couple a life of JOY, HAPPINESS and BLESSINGS!!!!

But now my look….. ;-)

can I say… flower power….?

Flower prints….. always welcomed in spring time, don’t you think?

It seems that I’ve been living in my pink pastel blazer lately, but it’s just a coincidence, (despite I don’t believe in coincidences….)

Tomorrow I’m going to a wedding of such a sweet friend, my friend F. I just hope the weather will help, because my outfit is not appropriated to cold….. I will try to take some pictures to show you.
I already went to the manicure and chose some red nail polish…. It goes with everything I think...

Is it just me or is Blogger a little twisted???? I’ve tried to do a post yesterday and I couldn’t even log in.

Have a fantastic weekend all of you…. I know it’s though but try to behave good…. lol ;-)

here comes the sun.....

Another 2 in 1 post…. I mean two looks just in one post now because I have no time for more.

Yesterday the sun started to peek and the feeling that good weather might come was great to dress bright colours, like my green pants, paired with pastel, my light pink blazer.

Today we had such a nice day with the sun shinning at last. I had just the wish to wear my new Westrags white blazer.

I just hope the sun will last and will make the temperature goes up, because I have a friend’s weeding this weekend and my outfit requires the hit.

my (un)friend the wind…….

Today the sun peeked and if it wasn’t for the North wind maybe we could have had a warm day…

I’m still with my home renovations which I expect to end by the middle of June, until then I haven’t much time to write long posts. Sorry my dear readers and blogging friends…..

I’m wearing my chambray shirt as a smart way to wear denim at the office, just peeking, like the sun, under my light pink blazer.

Today is the day to be chosen at random one lucky winner of the $25 gift card sponsored by the lovely people at SkinCareRx , available to use on Apothica.com, SkinCareRx.com, or SkinBotanica.com.

(I must confess that I’ve put many expectations on this giveaway which didn’t take).

I gave to all comments the order number, and I used random.org to generate a true random number. Since some comments weren’t eligible I was afraid I had to do it more than one time, but it wasn’t necessary.
The result at the first time was this:

So the winner is...

ideas to think about to learn if liposuction is good for you...

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that involves removing extra body fat. Some of the advantages that one can get from this surgery are that it could improve the look and shape of the body. Lipo treatment is now one of the most well-known surgical procedures executed worldwide. However, like any other form of surgery, it has its own set of dangers and, since it is a delicate medical procedure, it involves careful thought on the part of the client. If you’re planning to undergo San Diego Liposuction, you may consider the following to determine if liposuction surgery is good for you:

- Choose which parts of the body you desire the surgery to be performed on;
- Be aware of the limitations of the treatment;
- Ensure that you are qualified to undergo the surgery;
- Remember to be financially qualified to pay for the operation.

Once you have successfully determined that liposuction is right for you, find only a qualified and reputable surgeon to perform the operation. Be careful about it!

creating a purse insert......

Purse organiser are best for making all the items inside your bag accessible and organized. If you utilize several bags for various activities, using wallet inserts will also enable you to transfer your stuff easily because they are all kept in a single case. You can customise your own purse insert to accommodate your keys, mobile phone and also other necessary stuff you keep inside your own bag by following these simple ideas:

- To make your personal purse insert, have at least one half of a yard of fabric, a flat iron, a wooden dowel, thread, some thick fusible interfacing and a marking pen that’s specially designed for writing on cloth. Having a sewing machine could also be helpful.

- Slice two pieces of the cloth measuring 26 by 8 inches. Position them on the work surface with the right side facing down. Slice two interfacing portions with similar measurements as the cloth pieces. Utilize the flat iron to connect the interfacing with the wrong section of the fabric pieces.

- Place the fabric pieces so that their right sides face one another and the wrong sides are facing outward. Handle them together by using a pin. Begin stitching at one corner then sew half an inch over the whole fabric piece but make a space of two inches in the last corner. Clip out the extra cloth fabric located outside the seam in the sides.

- Invert the cloth fabric to make sure that the right part is out by pressing the right side through the space you left open. Use the wooden dowel to push the sides out. Iron the surface in order that it becomes smooth and flat. Begin edge sewing around the entire piece.

- If you want to have the ideal cloth display on the inner and outside cloth fabric be the one in the interior, fold the bottom portion of the piece 3 or 3 ½ inches. Level the piece utilizing the flat iron and pin the edges. Secure the lower part and keep it flattened by sewing a completed side along it.

- Put the things that you will be putting in the inserts along the panel. Mark the pocket dimensions which you need for every object using the marking pen. Make sure you include a space of 1 inch for each and every item for seams and also sufficient spacing.

- Sew a line beginning at the end of the panel until you get to the top portion of the pocket around the lines you marked. When you’re at the top side of the pocket, make a back stitch. To prevent crumpling the cloth, begin sewing at the innermost part of the pocket lines.

- When you get to the last pocket, stitch finish seams on the edge. Take away the pins and wash the marker traces.

Once the insert has been washed you can use it for containing the items you regularly keep inside your purse.

compromising…….

For this time of the year we have had lower temperatures than we are used to. So I have to conciliate my desire to dress my spring clothes with the cold, mixing them with some winter cardigans and coats.
That’s what I did one day of last week when I took these pictures.

Even though the weather is being somewhat unpredictable at the moment, you can still check out the latest womens clothing collection at www.very.co.uk. There's plenty to choose from to make sure you'll look stylish in any weather eventuality.

I bought these pants on-line at Zara, I order my regular size and when they came and I tried them they seemed OK, but now I don’t know why (maybe the body hit), they don’t fit me very well being larger than they should.

Today is Mother’s Day in some places, not here that it was last Sunday, however I would like to wish you all a Happy Day.

By the way don't forget to enter the SkinCareRx giveaway Here

how to tie a silk scarf using a windsor knot.....

Silk scarves are an ideal way of adding accessories to an outfit or creating an additional touch of elegance.
There are several things you could do utilizing silk scarves, that make them convenient fashion stuff.
The Windsor knot is one way of tying your silk scarf and making it look full and stylish. It is a wide knot that’s more typically used on males’ ties and for formal affairs. But girls could also style their own oblong scarves this way and create a fabulous full knot that can immediately accessorize a top or blouse.
If you would like learn how to tie a silk scarf by using a Windsor knot, follow these techniques:

- Start by draping the scarf around your own neck
- Cross the long end and bring it under the narrow one
- You can turn the scarf above and slide the longer end below the shorter end
- Create a couple of small loops
- Drag the scarf with the collar loop
- Pull the longer end downwards

Considering that Windsor knots are often wide and full, you may leave the uppermost button of your top open to provide the knot more area. If you want, you can also wear Windsor knots over a collarless top so you can flaunt how it compliments your neckline.
