wild things.... some wild things.... on Halloween day....

So are you prepared to celebrate Halloween? I hope that those you celebrate it will have lots of fun.

Here, at the Island, Halloween is not a tradition, but since tradition isn’t what it was anymore, each year we see more and more expressions of people celebrating it. Halloween is being imported from other cultures, especially the parties. The kids still go door to door asking for something (like candies, gums, chocolates and money) on November 1, meaning tomorrow.

Tomorrow it'll be a Holiday “All Saints Day”, but it might be the last year because with the crisis we’re going trough some Holidays are going to be cut and probably November 1 will be one of those.

The outfit I wore today it’s a bit of monochromatic but it pleased me very much. The animal print details were the focus of it, especially the boots match with the belt.
Looking for the pictures I realized that everything I wore today was bought on-line in La Redoute…. Interesting I guess.

with a little touch of yellow.....

An outfit I wore this last week on Wednesday. I think that despite it just have a touch of yellow it’s not a dark look with all that black but maybe the white is helping….

I’ve been very busy with lots of work at my office and arriving home very tired…. So I’m sorry for not being the blogger I wanted to be.

I wish you all my dear readers and blogging friends a fantastic weekend and by the way don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, we have different stuff there….

again wild prints and my wider legs red pants…..

This picture was taken on Thursday, seems that lately I’ve been in the mood to wear animal prints.
It’s still warm but we feel that the weather is chilling a bit.

Today I took some time to review old post on this blog. Because with the crisis that hit my country and all the cuts we’re having on salaries and bonuses, clothes became not a priority and I’m preparing to start mixing and remixing what I have to stay in style.
But now I feel nostalgic….. I miss the old times when my posts had 20, 30 and even 40 comments every day!!
Oh well…. I guess time changes…..

Have a nice working week all of you.

styling a black maxi skirt...

Don’t you love when a trend will last you more than one season? I do.
That’s what happened with maxi skirts and dresses that were a must for Spring and still are for Fall/Winter.
I bought this black maxi skirt early this year, when I went to spend New Year’s in Toronto, Canada, with the purpose to wear it on Spring.
But somehow I found myself in some kind of a rut where I wasn’t able to style it.
In my mind this wasn’t an ordinary skirt, despite its black colour seemed to be easy to combine with any other colour.
Finally I said “let’s move on with this” and here it is how it ended.
I must say I felt so great with it, comfy and yet stylish (moreover it has side pockets), that I’m glad I can continue to wear it forward this new season. But how… well I don’t know, when the time comes I’ll see…

And what about you, how do you feel about maxi skirts? How do you like to style them?
Insights are welcomed.

when it’s a matter of style, not of a trend….

Looking to some old pictures on this blog I realized why it’s easy for me to spot this Fall’s colour blocking trend. It’s because I’ve been wearing it before… so I guess for me it’s more than a trend, it’s part of my style.
Sounds logic, don’t you think?

I hope all my dear readers and blogging friends living in Canada had a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

again in some red pants….

After some bad weather we got sunshine and warm temperatures despite some wind. Is it summer coming back??
Oh I hate this weather humours… one never knows what to dress….

Well it seems I’ve been living in this red pants since my last post.
I haven’t I can assure you. But I’m in red pants team and with two pair of red pants (the other is wild leg) it’s natural something like this to happen since I’m taking few pictures.

Fall trends I’m spotting here: Colour blocking and bright pants…
