yellow and red, a statement combination....
Today I had to dress myself in a rush with no time to think much about the look.
It turned a simple outfit with some lack of accessories but yet the colours helped to make it vibrant.
I have been in such a bad mood…. I just feel like complaining, complaining, complaining… so it’s better that I stop writing or I’ll start to complain…. Lol

navy blue blazer always a classic with anything…
As you know I’m a high heels gal. Until last April I had no problems with that, because we had a free parking car outside my office’s building.
But then “they” took away from us the possibility to park there. So if I don’t want to pay to park all day (and having a huge parking bill at the end of the month) I have to leave my car in a park that makes me walk about 15 minutes to my work.
Hmmm… and the Portuguese cobblestone, despite all its beauty, is not the more appropriated road surface to walk with high heels... so that’s my drama with shoes lately…
too windy....
This is the first time that I’m linking up with The Pleated Poppy in What I wore Wednesday. I’m sure I’ll have much fun and inspiration from there. Go check it too :)

Today I had such a tasty lunch. I ate vegetarian of course crepes, don’t they look good?

printed wide (almost pallazo) pants......
If these pants could talk I bet they had a lot to tell….. lol
These pants were handmade by my Mom many years ago and I’ve kept them as a souvenir.
With this year's trend of printed skinny or wide pants I remembered them and I think they ended doing its job and I felt interesting dressed.
The print is tiny pink flowers with a red eye and some green leaves and the fabric is some kind of satin. I tried to make a detail of it but it didn’t work well.
So are you ready to embrace this trend?

Getting Started On Your Baby’s First Wardrobe
I have no children, as you know...
But I do not think there is any parent out there who doesn’t want their child to be well dressed. And, as buying trendy clothes for children becomes more accessible than ever as great high-street names introduce baby wear, it is possible for parents to buy sundresses, jeans, shorts and t-shirts in every colour and style going.
While it is lovely that parents are
insistent on buying fashionable baby clothes, the most important thing to keep
in mind is that your baby just wants to feel comfortable. They have the rest of
their teenage and adult life to wear uncomfortable clothes just to look good.
Therefore, in your pursuit for casual and classy clothes for your baby, make
sure their comfort is not sacrificed.
Typically, it is quite easy to buy the
right clothing for your child as sizes are often based on age: a newborn is
classed as 0–3 months. Sizes then increase to 3–6 months, 6–9 months, 9–12
months, 12 months, 18 months and lastly 24 months.
Many people buy clothing in double their
baby’s age as the child will then be able to grow into the clothes and not just
wear them for a two-month period. Also, clothing often shrinks when it is
washed, so it may be worthwhile trying the ‘double the age of your baby’ rule.
It is important to consider safety when
buying baby clothes because it doesn’t take much for a baby to choke on various
additions to clothing, such as bows, buttons and hooks. Therefore, anything
that dangles or you consider a choking hazard should be removed.
Loose threads can also prove to be a
problem as babies can trap and catch their toes and fingers. Before you put
socks on your baby look for loose threads by turning them inside out.
Make sure the materials of your baby’s
clothes match the climate. For summer months, you need breathable and loose-fitting
clothing to stop your baby getting hot or developing rashes. For winter
clothing, make sure you have lots of warm clothing and accessories such as hats
and gloves. Adidas
Originals at Very.co.uk provide perfect tracksuits for kids to wear in
colder months.
As your child gets older it will be more
important to buy clothing that is tough and durable so that when your child is
playing and falling over you will not be constantly heading to the shops for
replacements.

being casual chic with jeans and orange pumps….
Hello my
dear readers and blogging friends!! Today it’s such a shining day, one of the
best we had in a few days…. I hope on your “corner” it’s also a great weekend.
Those who
know me a little better also know that I’m not a denim person. I just tend to invest
less money on jeans, because I don’t wear them for work and they usually are
only for casual occasions.
But last
March when I was in mainland I had the opportunity to go to a Primark store
(the first in my life) and I was so lucky about finding the right pair of jeans
for me that I even bought two pairs. The ones I’m with today and another darker
pair.
I’m so in
love with them that I might broke my rules and one of these days I will wear
them to work. I feel very comfortable in them and they are straight leg which
is good for my pear body shape.
I forgot to
take my camera with me when we left home so I took these pictures at my home
backyard. They aren’t too good, but I just had to do a post today trying to
break this rout I’m in and hopping that this is the first of many more to come
on a daily basis.
Oh, by the
way did you notice my orange pumps? I finally wore them ;)
